Julia Parris is a commercial photographer and conceptual artist exploring themes such as memory, dreamscapes and sound.

In her recent series Visualizing Sound, Parris uses found imagery to create sonic compositions in the form of cut-paper collage drawing from her own experiences with synesthesia to express musical relationships between color, form and rhythm.
