Kat McCord has been appointed to the board of AIGANY, the professional association for design here in New York City where she will be focusing on community.
AIGANY is the New York chapter of AIGA The American Institute of Graphic Arts and the AIGANY Board of Directors represents the chapter’s diverse interests and work to provide the varied and relevant programming and initiatives AIGANY has become known for.
AIGANY works to demonstrate design’s impact and cultivate the future of design in New York City. It elevates designers and the role of design in NYC and beyond. They do this by advocating for issues impacting our professional context; educating and empowering designers at every level and community-building and defining the future of our craft.
